“When you photograph people in colour, you photograph their clothes.

But when you photograph people in Black and White, you photograph their souls!”

A SWEET JOURNEY

A sweet journey is made by the beautiful relationships I have formed over the years of photographing families, to me there is nothing more fulfilling than to see the children grow, the expansion of families, the rough and the smooth, it is all so rewarding to know that I have made a difference in all their lives by capturing the joy and the sometimes kooky harmony, I do feel blessed from all the experiences, such a sweet journey.

FROM THE GLASS EYE

Since I was young I have always used a cinematic approach to my photography, my first inspirations came from the B&W classical movies of the 30's & 40's, I was fixated on how the master photographers of the time could create incredible mood by controlling the shape of the light and shadows in scenes and on the actors developing this amazing depth and sense of atmosphere which would captivate an audience. Movie Directors at the time would use this special glass eye piece which was tinted blue which in-turn then filtered all the colour in a scene so it could be interpreted in B&W.

EVERLASTING

Everlasting…

Just the word itself is so beautiful & timeless. The knowledge that one object can pass through with you for your entire life, enduring your life changes but staying forever unchangeable, captured in time. This is our philosophy used in everything we do.
